Thule EasyFold XT 2 Bike Rack

This is a very handsome two bike carrier, it has capacity for two bikes up to 30kg each, with frames up to 80mm in diameter and tire diameters of up to 29in, and wheel bases of up to 130cm, so it can carry a huge range of bike sizes and types. With this incredible weight capacity even many e-bikes can be transported, and as usual with Thule products, the build quality is second to none with well thought out design. 

Firstly it's a breeze to fit to your vehicle, it attaches directly to the tow ball and plugs into a standard 7 pin power socket, plus it comes fully assembled so no special tools are required. It's basically a plug and play unit and definitely one of the easier carriers to mount.

This is a very versatile carrier, it has a high load capacity, and it provides a big 22cm distance between bikes when mounted. Out of the box it can handle tire widths up to 3in, and with the use of the Thule XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps it can cater for tyre widths up to 4.7in, both standard and long straps utliize a ratchet mechanism for easier use. Together these design features make transporting many types of bikes, from kid's bikes to fat bikes possible. With the optional carbon frame protector it can even take your carbon framed pride and joy.

When it comes to being an all rounder the 933 Easyfold is a star, as mentioned it can take a huge range of bike types, it's also easy to fit, and it folds completely for easier mounting and storage. Plus it has integrated carrier handles, and it weighs 18kg so handling and fitting can even be a solo job.

The EasyFold XT has Thule's "smart foot pedal" tilt system so you can easily access the boot of your car when it's fitted, even with bikes loaded. For less strong users, an optional loading ramp takes the hard work out of loading and unloading your bikes too. Thule also have a great storage bag, the Thule EasyFold bag 9311.

With safety in mind Thule has integrated a very nice looking full set of tail lights, this feature is one we think all carriers should incorporate for safety. It adds initial expense but can save you so much more in the future.

Another nice inclusion is the locks for both the carrier and for your bike, in this day and age it’s a necessity, and as with all Thule products, the "one key" system means that we can match all Thule locks to one key.

This unit is adapted specifically for Australian regulations and vehicles, hence it has an AU code and comes supplied with a Thule approved towball and a custom designed electrical adapter to fit a flat 7 pin vehicle outlet.

Fantastic quality product. So easy to use and so easy to store. My very expensive bikes are very secure. The arms fit road, mountain and the wife’s e-bike.The only suggestion would be that a rewiring of the attachment for AU would be preferable to the adapter but I guess it’s easier for Thule to ship everywhere as is. Roofrackdtore were fantastic to deal with and very responsive to my questioning emails. The price was amazingly competitive and postage reasonable and delivered to Adelaide in 2 days.

Very easy to use and folds to store like a suitcase. We use it in conjunction with our Thule roof mounted bike rack.

This is my first bike carrier in this style, and dam is it easy to use. folds up small, so when im not using it i can slide it into the back of the car without taking up to much space. Rear lights make it really logical for the state of road laws in Aus now.

Love it. Easy to load onto the car. Bikes are easy to load. I love the tilt back option, makes it real easy to gain access to the rear hatch. Shipping was free and lightning fast. Great product and Great service.
