Yakima Showboat 66

The versatile ShowBoat load-assist roller makes it painless to get your kayak on top of your vehicle - even if you're loading multiple boats onto your car rack system all by yourself. So you'll never spend the day in the hospital with a double-hernia instead of out on the water.

The ingenious boat load-assist roller slides out over the rear of the vehicle for easier access and vehicle protection (UP TO 86.4 cm (34”) EXTENSION FROM REAR CROSSBAR)

It works with your existing or new kayak racks and fits most factory and aftermarket racks. It's also compatible with Gunwale Brackets for easy canoe loading and has corrosion-resistant stainless steel and brass hardware

Yakima Showboat 66 8004068 Customer Reviews

Ted rated this item 5 out of 5      on Friday, 09 October 2015
Rather than buying online I went in to Roof Rack Store to buy myself a Thule Slipstream but after talking to the very helpful young fellows there and them showing me both products I just thought the Yakima Showboat was a much better thought out piece of equipment. As a retired engineer who spends much more time paddling than working these days, I can really appreciate this product. I've got a new Prado with a big wing over the back window and the Showboat pulls out far enough to clear the spoiler and load my kayak. I paid the $40 fitting fee which was money well spent. They were pretty busy on the day but I never felt rushed or pushed into a hasty decision. I've been into a lot of shops in my life but few as helpful and knowledgable as these guys. Well done to Nate and his team. Thank you. Ted
