Thule VeloCompact 2 Bike Rack 924001

Thule´s most compact and lightweight bike carrier for everyday use (2 bikes). The VeloCompact is now one of their best selling carriers thanks to its super easy bike loading and its great vehicle rear access even with bikes loaded via the smart foot pedal tilt system.

It also features extendable wheel holders and longer wheel straps with quick release pump buckles which makes it versatile and easy to load. You can also avoid needing to lift your bike by using the optional Thule Loading Ramp 9152. The VeloCompact can accommodate a decent range of bikes with its 46kg total load limit and 25kg per bike load limit, but it isn't suited to all e-bikes, and some long wheelbase bikes due to these load limits. It can also be adapted to be suitable for carbon frame bikes with the use of the Thule Carbon Frame Protector and the Thule Acutight Knob, both sold separately. Max wheelbase is up to 130cm. Out of the box it can handle tire widths up to 3in, and with the use of the Thule XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps it can cater for tyre widths up to 4.7in, both standard and long straps utilize a ratchet mechanism for easier use.

For safety on the road it has width adjustable integrated lights and plate holder. It comes almost fully assembled and locks not only the bikes to the carrier but the carrier to towball (locks included).

This unit is adapted specifically for Australian regulations and vehicles, hence it has an AU code and comes supplied with a custom designed electrical adapter to fit a flat 7 pin vehicle outlet.
