Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning - Left 33100

The Batwing's easy-to-use design means it can be set up and packed away literally in minutes, this in itself gives the Batwing an edge over many of its competitors for some customers. Featuring excellent design throughout, Rhino-Rack have clearly spent the time and effort needed to design and build an easy to use, high quality awning system.

It comes right out of the box with everything you need to mount it and to set it up once you've arrived at your destination. When not in use, all components pack away into its heavy-duty PVC bag until your next adventure.

The Batwing's storage bag is a sleek yet heavy-duty 580gsm PVC number, which has an enclosed internal pocket for pegs and guy ropes, and a protective front plastic moulding for off-road driving.

With 270 degrees of shade covering 11 m2 / 118 ft2, the Batwing is among the leaders in terms of awning coverage area. The awning material itself is a lightweight, Ripstop 210D P/OX W/R PU2000mm fabric, which is waterproof and mold resistant, with an independently tested and cancer council approved UV50+ rating.

Adjustable legs fold out from the awning arms, rather than being a separate component, and can be packed away at your chosen pre-set length. Neodymium rare earth magnets usually only found in medical and other high precision applications are used to secure the awning arms, showing Rhino-Rack's commitment to finding quality solutions for their products.

Further evidence of this commitment to affordable quality and good design is found in the double-stitched Velcro straps, and the black powder-coated frame, arms and poles. Plus the high visibility orange guy ropes make it far less likely you'll trip over them after one or two cold ones.

The Batwing is reverse compatible with Rhino-Rack's older model wall panels and other accessories, plus it features a frame channel for mounting these accessories.

One of our favourite features though is also one of its simplest, the oversized zippers which allow use while wearing gloves, a small detail which will be appreciated by anyone who has packed up camp on a frosty morning. It's another example of the well thought out design you'll see throughout the Batwing.

The mounting brackets are compatible with all Pioneer systems, and designed to allow for installation at different heights, for more information about parts and fitting please refer to the instructions below.
